Daily jury pay
Varies by county - commissioners set the daily fee (commonly $10 to $40/day). After 10 days of service, each additional day is the greater of $15 or 1.5 times the county rate (ORC § 2313.16)
Transportation & parking
No — statewide juror mileage reimbursement; some counties may reimburse at their discretion.
Overnight / special circumstances
No — set per diem. Sequestered jurors are furnished meals and lodging at court direction.
Employer requirements
Employer required to pay
No — Ohio does not require employers to pay wages, but an employer may not require the use of vacation, sick, or personal leave, or discipline an employee who gives reasonable notice (ORC § 2313.18)
Job protection law
Yes — ORC § 2313.18 bars discharge, threats, or discipline against a permanent employee summoned for jury service who gives reasonable notice
