Employer requirements

Yes — the employer must pay the employee's usual wages for jury service and may offset the juror fee (TCA 22-4-106)
Job protection law
Yes — TCA 22-4-108 bars discharge or discrimination for jury service
Exemptions
Employers with fewer than 5 regular employees, and employees on a temporary basis under 6 months, are not required to be paid (TCA 22-4-106)
